My aim is make you, the client, feel relaxed behind the wheel, and I usually succeed, as many of my clients can tell you. I hear so many horror stories about instructors who shout at and bully their pupils, when they should be either talking them through a situation or taking over the situation if necessary.
You are the paying customer - never forget that. You would not put up with being shouted at by a shop assistant or bank manager, or anyone else, so why put up with it from a driving instructor? You should enjoy the experience of learning to drive, you should look forward to your lessons with enthusiasm. If you don't, if you dread that car appearing outside your house, find someone else.
